The Park de la Deule was created to connect the city of Lille
with this old mine industry fields along the Deule River, in
a competition won by Jacques Simon. His proposal is to divide
this 2000 ha in three parts:
Back to nature the en of the mining fields
Domestic nature, agriculture
Dreamed nature. 7 thematic gardens of the main immigrant’s communities.
The Iberia community garden is one of the 7 thematic gardens
of the main immigrant’s communities.
